An update

Ok, so I've decided to break down my blog into two separate blogs. This one here will go bye-bye in about a month.

For family photos, stories, etc, the new blog with be It's only by invitation, generally meant as a means of updating other family members with the goings-on in our little family. So if you want to be able to view that blog, email me at and let me know you want to be invited to view the "family blog". I'll send an invite.

The other blog, which I haven't yet designed or gotten a url for, will be about me, not Jocelynne the wife, mom, sister, daughter, aunt, etc. Basically a place where I can be my crazy self. It probably won't be rainbows and butterflies, and may include some "drama" (ie things I have issues with), and questions & thoughts about life in general. I'll post my photos (which I might do on the family one also), my favorite song lyrics, etc.

If you want to be invited to that one, send an email asking to be invited to the "personal blog" to I won't post the name or link here. I'll reply to your email with the link.

Or you can ask for an invitation to both. No biggie!

Peace out blog peeps! I'll keep this here for a while to be sure whoever wants to see it will have a chance. :D

I'm thinking about making this blog into a family-oriented blog with pics and stories of my family.

And then I'm thinking of starting a new blog with content similar to what's here now, and maybe a little more real as far as what goes on in my grey matter. That would be by invitation, or possibly just not searchable (or attached to this username).

Let me know what you all think. Thanks!

Favorite Lyrics Part 9

Leave Out all the Rest by Linkin Park, especially this stanza:

When my time comes
Forget the wrong that I've done
Help me leave behind some
Reasons to be missed

Dealing with my bipolar disorder and people dealing with me will, I'm sure, leave behind bad memories of me. I'm a firm believer in karma, and even though I eff up on an almost daily basis, I try to make up for that by doing good things when I can. Helping out strangers. Sending surprise fun mail to friends. Handmaking cards for family and friends to show I care.

I wish I knew where I stood with the karma gods. Or maybe I don't. I think sometimes I'm ahead, so when something big goes down and I lose it completely, maybe it'll be even-steven til the next thing. I'm doing the best I can.

Will it be enough? I just don't know. I hope so, but I just don't know.
